The client is one of the largest real estate investment manager in the world, specializing in commercial real estate services and facility management. Fueled by a rapidly growing customer base, the client was in need of modernization and simplification of its core facility management processes. In order to keep pace with client needs and requirements, they needed stronger performance, higher productivity and improved quality of product development.

Approach

Encora provided a three-pronged approach to the client’s challenges envisioning a new product roadmap, enabling cloud services and engineering new products.

  • Collaborative Innovation Ideation was used to identify and prioritize next-horizon product capabilities. Product Planning streamlined the product roadmap to build out the planned capabilities and future-proof the design through use of modern and evolving technologies.
  • Cloud Enablement services established a new Cloud-based environment for development, staging and demo. Product Support services delivered capabilities to meet the new customer enhancements (e.g., DaVita, The Home Depot, FedEx, etc.).
  • Product Engineering & Development services assumed full-end-to-end responsibility for the development of products, related to work order processing, vendor management, invoicing and AP processing.

Results

In the five years of our on-going partnership, Encora’s proprietary EDC framework has delivered significant improvements to product development throughput and quality. Simplifying management processes through technological solutions like applications enhanced the client experience while simplifying processes such as pricing, contracting, invoicing and accounts payable among others. This and other technologies have increased efficiency and speed to market, while simultaneously reducing costs.
