Encora Supports Howden in Launching Cyber Insurance Products

Santa Clara, CA – September 26, 2025 – Encora is proud to have partnered with Howden, a global leader in cyber insurance since 1997, to deliver the technology implementation services behind Cyber+, a specialized platform designed to provide access to cyber insurance for small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) worldwide. Traditionally, cyber insurance has been tailored to large corporates, leaving 75% of SMEs without coverage due to complex and resource-intensive procurement processes. Cyber+ changes that by simplifying the experience through a scalable, digital-first solution that Encora helped bring to life.
Cyber+ is developed by Encora on the FintechOS composable product engine. Encora enabled the rapid deployment of a scalable, intuitive solution that supports global coverage and real-time underwriting by Beazley, another key Encora client.
Backed by global carriers such as Beazley and QBE, Cyber+ includes 24/7 crisis support, proactive risk guidance, and scalable coverage across jurisdictions. Since its launch in February 2024, Cyber+ has sold over 600 policies, generating $6.8 million in GWP across 36 countries and 24 industries, including markets where cyber insurance was previously unavailable.
Cyber+ was recently shortlisted for the prestigious “Broking Innovation of the Year” award at the 2025 Insurance Insider Honours in London, recognizing its transformative impact on the cyber insurance landscape.
