Encora’s Flávia Negrão Selected to Speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference 2023

Negrão’s Session, “The Growing Importance of Diversity as a Driver of Innovation in Technology” Will Take Place on Tuesday, May 9 in New York City 

 SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 9, 2023 Encora, a global next-gen product engineering provider, today announced that its Experience Design (XD) Studio Manager, Flávia Negrão, will be giving a talk at the Women in Tech Global Conference 2023 titled, “The Growing Importance of Diversity as a Driver of Innovation in Technology.” Negrão’s session will focus on how diversity is driving innovation across technology subsectors and why more organizations must leverage diverse hiring practices, as well as growing a culture that is accepting of all individuals. Her talk will take place on Tuesday, May 9 both virtually and in-person in the New York City Flat Iron District.

Negrão is a UX designer with more than 20 years of experience in the field, mainly in international projects with distributed teams. She has worked in the design of mobile, desktop, SaaS, B2B, B2C and Enterprise products. She currently leads the XD Studio in Brazil and acts as one of Encora’s global Innovation Leader in the company’s Digital Experience technology practice, focusing on UX and Metaverse.  

She was selected to speak at the conference due to her career experience, as well as her insight into the benefits of diverse hiring practices in her role with Encora.
