Venu Raghavan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Encora and a member of its Board of Directors. In his role as CEO, Venu is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the company, overseeing its extensive global operations, driving growth strategies, and promoting Encora’s values and client-first culture.
With Venu's strategic organizational leadership, Encora has witnessed sustained growth over the years and has established itself as the leader in next-generation product engineering and digital experience services space with unrivaled digital capabilities such as platform modernization, data analytics, customer experience, and cloud adoption. In July 2019, the company attracted investment from Warburg Pincus, a leading global private equity firm with a successful track record of backing growth-focused businesses in the high-tech and next-generation IT space.
Venu has over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology industry in both operational and advisory roles. He also serves on the Board of AZ Technology Council (www.aztechcouncil.org). Venu's keen interest and accomplishments in innovation, M&A, leadership, and strategy have won him numerous accolades. He was awarded the Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year® Award in 2008 in the Emerging category in Orange County/Desert Cities. He won 'CEO of the Year Award 2018' by the Phoenix Business Journal for his contributions to Encora and the region’s growth in technology.
Michael Sutcliff is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Cherish Health. Prior to this, Mike was Group Chief Executive of Accenture Digital and a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee. Before that, Michael was Senior Managing Director of Accenture’s financial services business in North America, with broad responsibility for the group’s strategy, client relationships, and financial performance. Between 2000 and 2005, he led Accenture’s finance & performance management global service line. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Business from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Viraj Sawhney joined Warburg Pincus in 2005 and evaluates investment opportunities across TMT and Business Services. The sectors covered by him include logistics, telecom, technology services and BPO. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Viraj was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company where he spent five years serving clients across India, S.E. Asia and Australia. He is a Director of Indecomm Digital Services, Vivtera Holdings, Bharti Telemedia, Princeton Digital Group, Ecom Express, Rivigo, and Stellar Value Chain Solutions. Viraj holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics from St. Stephens College (Delhi University) and a Post-Graduate diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad.
Naresh Ponnapa is the Principal Founder of Indecomm in 2003, which has been consistently ranked amongst the Global Top 100 IT and ITeS providers for over a decade. Naresh led a team of highly accomplished fellow professional entrepreneurs which worked as a seamless unit overcoming and converting difficult business cycles to build two formidable and distinctive businesses – Indecomm Digital and Indecomm Mortgage Services. Complementing strong organic growth with select acquisitions was the forte of this team.
Prior to this, he worked in various senior capacities within the Unilever organization for 21 years. He was a key member of Unilever’s core Mergers & Acquisitions team in London. He was the youngest member on the Board of Hindustan Unilever Limited. Naresh was a Founding Fellow of the 21st Century Trust (working together with Salzburg Global Seminar). He is a distinguished member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Raj Kushwaha serves as the Operating Partner and Chief Digital Officer at Warburg Pincus, responsible for operations and technology diligence with prospective investments, as well as ongoing work with the firm’s existing portfolio companies. He brings over 30 years of experience in leading large-scale digital transformations, building commercial grade SaaS software platforms, and managing technology operations in Fortune 500 companies and Entrepreneurial late stage ventures. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Raj held senior management positions at Zimmer Holdings Inc., Dell Computer Corporation, PepsiCo, First Data Corporation (FDC), Cummins Engine Company and Safway, Inc. He has been recognized as one of the top 100 IT innovators in the automotive/manufacturing industry, is the recipient of a CIO 100 innovation award and has filed numerous patents in the field of disruptive services technologies. Raj is a Director of Accelya, Cyren, and LI Group. He holds an M.S. in Management of Technology from MIT, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and Idaho State University, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from India, and completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Harvard University.
